Stupid Little Mind Games

Why do I play such stupid little mind games with people? What brings me pleasure brings them pain..and they assume directly that I am sadistic. So the conversation usually concludes with an empty apology.

Maybe the correct question is not “Why do I play such stupid little mind games…”, but “Why are people offended by my stupid little mind games?”

Are you sure you play mind games? Sure? Hard question for me to ask, but out of curiosity, as someone whose never been on the receiving end before.

Some people can’t handle it. They hate the player, when they should hate the game. I suggest maybe you surround yourself with people who know how to play. Why question yourself? You are who you are, and it’s not your fault if you’re way out of most peoples elements.

    • Thank you for reading and commenting. I disagree with you though..one of my methods for creating a better society is to ask myself “how should I change” before questioning other’s. If more people changed themselves…we wouldn’t have to do it for them.

I respect that. But I find it discomforting that someone such as yourself, who basically is living by that cute little John Lennon quote. “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”, would feel the need to question himself before others. Society tells us a lot of things. It’s hard to really imagine it changing.
